An Early Birthday Present

 Walter’s birthday is this coming Friday. This week is going to be so busy and Friday we fly out to NYC, so I gave him his got today. A book written just for him by AI pretending to be him! He loved it!

Fall Has Arrived!

 It may have been 90° today, but it’s been so cool in the evenings that I needed to make a soup; a potato leek soup. It turned out delicious! So yummy and so filling. 

Sunday Morning coffee

 nothing like a Sunday where we actually slept in until almost 8 o’clock and then went out to try a new coffee shop our neighbors recommended. Cute place. Really good coffee. 

Texas Sunrise

While I still think the Arizona has some of the best sunsets, I love that Texas has some beautiful sunrises.

 The House has been Warmed!

This past weekend we hosted our housewarming. It was so nice to have some of the wonderful people we have met and become friends with come over and bring their joy and energy into our home. It truly made our house turn into a home and we are so grateful to all those who came. Sadly, no photos from the party. I guess that is a good sign that we had so much fun, we never thought to pause and take a picture.

Bringing color to our life

 So as much and Walter and I tried to enjoy white walls in our new home, we decided we are much more colorful than that. Yes, decor brought color into the house, but we missed the feeling that having some color on the walls brought. So our first mission was our bedroom and bathroom. We freaking love it!  Can’t wait for all the wall decor to arrive to hang and make it an oasis. Walter describes it as “the sexiest bedroom we’ve ever had.”  I have to agree. What do you think?
